Fraser Dove International is partnering exclusively with a leading biopharmaceutical organisation. Operating from a newly established facility, they are committed to setting new standards in biologic drug substance manufacturing.

Our client is seeking an accomplished leader to oversee downstream biologics operations and build a best-in-class manufacturing team.

Your objectives :

Establish and lead a downstream manufacturing function from greenfield to commercial readiness.

Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements while achieving operational excellence.

Build and develop a high-performing, safety-first manufacturing team.

What you will do :

Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE and all applicable pharma regulations and standards.

Hire, onboard and develop a skilled manufacturing team focused on quality and performance.

Drive process optimisation strategies to improve efficiency and maintain product consistency.

Analyse production data and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Oversee inventory management to support uninterrupted, lean manufacturing operations.

Introduce smart manufacturing technologies to enable digital process control and real-time decision making.

Promote sustainable practices in manufacturing, including energy reduction and green chemistry.

Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources to align with business goals.

Translate organisational goals into actionable training and development plans for staff.

What you will bring :

Minimum 5 years’ experience in biologics manufacturing, particularly monoclonal antibodies.

Experience managing biologics downstream processes, ideally in a start-up or scale-up setting.

Proven people leadership and team development skills.

Strong understanding of GMP compliance and regulatory standards.

Competence with manufacturing metrics and data-driven decision making.

University degree in chemistry, pharmacy, economics or equivalent.
