Establish HS goals, evaluate outcomes with management, and initiate HS programs to improve safety performance and culture.
Conduct safety communications within work groups, encouraging management and employees to engage and foster correct attitudes towards health and safety.
Identify training and certification needs to comply with legislation, codes of practice, and HS guidance, informing senior management accordingly.
Provide effective leadership and serve as a role model in shaping the company's health and safety culture.
Ensure all employees, visitors, and vendors comply with local HS policies and procedures.
Conduct and review all assessments required by legislation, maintaining proper records.
Advise on PPE standards issued to employees.
Maintain up-to-date HS records and training documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.
Establish, test, and clearly publish emergency procedures.
Report, investigate, and implement corrective actions for accidents and incidents within designated timescales.
Ensure full compliance with all HS regulatory and legislative requirements.
Correct unsafe acts immediately and investigate unsafe conditions, escalating unresolved issues as per company policy.
