Overview Job Title : Human Resources Generalist
Job Description : At a leading technology company, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our European Human Resources team based in Madrid. As a local HR partner, you will work closely with the regional team to cover a wide range of responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and other HR initiatives to support both daily operations and long-term growth of the Spain business.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields and 1-3 years of HR-related experience, preferably in multinational or fast-paced environments. He or she should possess solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR practices, strong communication skills in Spanish and English (both written and spoken), self-motivation, proactivity, accountability, team spirit, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, cross-cultural adaptability, and willingness to learn continuously.
Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment for Spain and Portugal, ensuring efficient and high-quality talent introduction.
Support HR daily operations and HR Shared Services (HRSSC) work, including labor contracts, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, and employee records management.
Act as an employee relations partner, handling inquiries, contract management, and workplace issues in compliance with Spanish labor law, fostering a positive work environment.
Assist with performance management processes such as goal setting, evaluations, and talent reviews.
Coordinate and deliver training & development programs to enhance employee capabilities and job satisfaction.
Implement and localize HR policies and processes aligned with regional HR strategy.
Provide HR data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
Contribute to employee engagement, culture building, and HR initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
1-3 years of HR-related experience, preferably in multinational or fast-paced environments.
Solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR practices.
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
Self-motivated, proactive, with strong accountability and team spirit.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Cross-cultural adaptability and willingness to learn continuously.
