Overview Laundry Facility Supervisor Job Summary

This is a key role that requires an individual to oversee the daily operations of a laundry facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all laundry equipment is in good working order, and staff adhere to guidelines and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of guest-facing service experience in a luxury environment. A combination of education equivalent to high school diploma or any other source of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is also essential.

Responsibilities Supervise the day-to-day operations of the laundry facility.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Ensure staff adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years guest facing service experience in a luxury environment.

Combination of education equivalent to high school diploma or any other source of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Ability to read and interpret English language documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment.

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Preferred Qualifications Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.

Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within variety software packages such as Excel, Word, and Adobe Page Maker or related programs.

University degree preferred.

Language Requirements Good knowledge of the English language is required. Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish and European languages preferred.
