Facility Services Director

Job Summary The Facility Services Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient facility operations. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and organizational abilities to manage teams and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

About the Role Directly oversee the daily operations of housekeeping, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Manage operational aspects, including cleaning activities, pool deck maintenance, and support services for public / crew areas.

Provide hands-on guidance to supervisors and crew members, fostering growth, and recognizing outstanding performance.

Responsibilities Guest Experience : Ensure impeccable hospitality, communication, and organizational skills are consistently exercised.

Quality Assurance : Hold full accountability for the quality of guests\' experience in Staterooms and public areas.

Maintenance : Take ownership of assigned areas, including Staterooms or public spaces, ensuring flawless maintenance and appearance.

Operational Management Manage operational aspects and cleaning activities of public / crew areas, including the pool deck.

Provide direct support to the Housekeeping Manager in ensuring division objectives are met and day-to-day operations are maintained to standard.

Develop and recognize leadership skills with supervisors and crew members.

Requirements Minimum one-year managerial experience in a large 4- or 5-star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line, or related field required.

Experience supervising a team of at least 10 employees.

Combination of education equivalent to a high school diploma or any other source of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures.

Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and software packages such as Excel, Word, or related programs.
