Legal Expert

Overview NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU funded project called : EOM 2026 and is currently seeking qualified professionals to join the project team.

Objective The overall objective of this assignment is to :

• strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention;
• contribute to reducing inter alia the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation which could undermine the electoral processes;
• improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in the institutions;

inform the European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries.

Duration The intended start date is 1 January 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

Key Expert Key Expert : Legal Expert (Host Country)

Qualifications and Skills Master\'s in law / political science / international relations or 5+ years experience in lieu.

General experience Cat. I : 10+ years

Cat. II : 5+ years in :

Elections / electoral assistance

Human rights, democratisation

Rule of law / civil society

Specific experience Election observation / assessment.

Electoral systems / administration / standards.

Familiarity with national election frameworks.

Understanding of election management bodies.
