Senior Technology Architect-Data Engineering

Overview Your role

As a Sr. Technology Architect, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation to business and IT stakeholders, designing scalable data pipelines, and leading a team of data engineers and business intelligence professionals. Proficiency in technologies such as Python, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Informatica Cloud (IICS), and Snowflake is essential. The Sr. Tech Architect will also drive performance optimization efforts, apply strong problem-solving skills in an Agile environment, and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities Extensive experience in data architecture, ETL architecture

Engage with business and IT stakeholders to provide expert consultation and technical leadership for data engineering and visualization initiatives

Design and guide the development of robust and scalable data architectures and ETL / ELT pipelines using modern cloud technologies, including Python, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Informatica Cloud (IICS), Snowflake

Lead the development and implementation of ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a Snowflake data warehouse

Drive performance optimization efforts for data workloads on both Snowflake and Databricks

Lead, mentor, and foster the growth of a team of data engineers and business intelligence professionals (specifically Power BI)

Utilize extensive experience in data architecture, ETL architecture, and proficiency in SQL to deliver high-quality solutions.

Proficiency and experience with cloud-based data storage and processing

Apply strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that uses Agile methodologies

Leverage excellent communication, articulation, and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Should have experience in data engineering, development, architecture and design

Should have experience and expertise in technical skills : Python, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Informatica (Cloud), Snowflake etc.
