Senior Wind Turbine Engineer

Overview The role of Senior Wind Turbine Engineer is a leadership position responsible for defining WTG requirements and following up on projects in advanced stages. This involves finding best practices between projects and capturing them at the corporate level.

This senior engineer will be responsible for ensuring that wind turbine activities are in accordance with applicable standards, legislation, ethics, and good practices across the offshore wind farms industry.

Main Responsibilities Fully review and define the technical specifications for WTG packages to be implemented in projects.

Work closely with the procurement department to develop and ensure a solid relationship with key suppliers across the construction services supply chain.

Provide ongoing and continuous technical support, including innovation, to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Accountability for the technical analysis and definition of WTG work packages associated with bids preparation / acquisitions / due diligence for projects.

Lead a team reporting to this role, ensuring sufficient project team resource is applied to deliver the work.

Definition and estimation of headcounts and levels for project construction stages and creation of construction plannings for different projects and opportunities.

Requirements Internationally recognized master's degree in Engineering or Science, relevant to offshore wind.

A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience within the power / energy sector and 5 years of offshore wind experience.

Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills.
