The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in offshore wind project development, execution, and operation within a project developer organization or in an Owner's Engineer role. They will have profound industry knowledge and an understanding of design and engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm development.
Key Responsibilities :
Support and lead relevant working packages for the wind turbine scopes, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Provide expert guidance and strategic advice in all areas within the wind turbine scope, especially wind turbine supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics.
Deliver on technical due diligence assignments in support of large and complex finance transitions, taking responsibility over the wind turbine scope.
Project roles in the wind turbine package within our Owner's Engineer service deliveries, with responsibility over package interfaces, programme, risk, and change management processes.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems during project execution of wind turbine projects.
Support and lead the technical preparation, coordination, and management of the wind turbine scope tendering processes, in collaboration with external stakeholders and clients.
Prepare technical specifications, manuals, and operating procedures to support project documentation requirements and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Renewable Energy, or related field.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in wind projects; wind turbine supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics.
Extensive experience in offshore wind project development, execution, and operation within a project developer organization or in an Owner's Engineer role.
Profound industry knowledge and an understanding of design and engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm development.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.
Experience in negotiating complex construction contracts would be beneficial.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation associated with offshore construction projects.
Strong writing and communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, team environment.
