Senior Wind Turbine Engineer

Wind Turbine Generator Leadership Role Job Description This is a high-level leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of wind turbine generator projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in project management, technical analysis, and team leadership.

Main Accountabilities Technical Analysis : Provide technical expertise to ensure that wind turbine work packages meet project requirements and industry standards.

Project Management : Lead cross-functional teams to deliver wind turbine projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Team Leadership : Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, improve collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Skill Development : Identify training needs and develop plans to upskill staff in areas such as technical analysis, project management, and leadership.

Quality Assurance : Ensure that all wind turbine activities comply with applicable standards, legislation, ethics, and good practices in the offshore wind farm industry.

Supplier Management : Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers across the construction services supply chain.

Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize their impact on project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications Master's degree in an offshore wind relevant discipline.

Fluent English language skills. Ability to read, write, and speak other languages is desirable.

A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience within the power / energy sector and 5 years of offshore wind experience.
