We embrace world class methodologies and technologies including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) energy modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.

Our team as part of the continued growth of our business is looking to hire an inspirational Project Director & Design Manager to work closely with clients and deliver upstanding construction projects.

For a successful performance in the role you will need a strong technical knowledge in MEP engineering and previous experience of delivering large projects from concept design all the way to construction stage.

Based in Madrid this role offers a hybrid setup with 23 days a week in the office depending on project and team requirements. We also offer flexible working hours to support your work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities

• To lead a team of MEP engineers technical specialists to support the technical delivery of large building and infrastructure projects
• To actively participate in the development of the delivery team and ensure AECOM delivers the quality required to ensure a successful outcome for AECOM and our Clients.
• Be competent to deliver review and approve engineering solutions
• Provide the key liaison required between client and the AECOM and maintains client relationships
• Ensure successful achievement of project mission statement and goals and be responsible for all day-to-day activities.
• To ensure a successful completion of the Project within the budget and on time.
• To schedule and plan all project activities in line with Master Program in co-ordination with the Planning Engineer. Planning and scheduling of resources
• To identify change and where required liaise / support the project Commercial Manager with supporting technical justification for the change.
• To grow Client and Architect relationships to support the continued growth of the business.
• To maintain and enhance expertise within the team and as an individual.
