The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Executive Director, the Director will provide leadership and direction for the SVR Direct Services program, which offers trauma-informed, confidential support, crisis intervention / counseling, advocacy, connection to resources, referrals, online orders of protection, and accompaniment for survivors of gender and power-based violence.
The Director will supervise a team of professionals specialized in victim advocacy, trauma-informed crisis response, and case management for students affected by sexual, intimate partner, gender, and power-based violence. This role includes 24 / 7 year-round supervision of on-call and after-hours staff, including consultation, crisis intervention, case supervision, and in-person support.
The role involves providing training, outreach, community education, and systems-level advocacy. The Director will contribute to campus-wide sexual violence initiatives, collaborate on strategic planning, and help evaluate and improve the Direct Services infrastructure. Operational leadership for SVR in the absence of the Senior Executive Director is also required.
This is an essential onsite role, requiring after-hours work including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with some hybrid work options possible.
