Required Skills and Qualifications

Expert-level knowledge of enterprise storage systems, including SAN, Hyperconverged, and S3 (on-premise)

Proven experience in administering and maintaining complex storage infrastructure

Strong understanding of storage capacity and performance monitoring

Able to implement storage scaling, optimization, and obsolescence management

Excellent documentation and reporting skills

Ability to configure and manage backups using Veeam Backup & Replication

Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution

Experience with data security and compliance regulations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

As a Storage & Backup Administrator, you will be responsible for :

Administering and maintaining enterprise storage systems

Monitoring storage capacity and performance

Implementing storage scaling, optimization, and obsolescence management

Documenting and reporting on storage health, usage, and lifecycle status

Configuring and managing backups using Veeam Backup & Replication

Monitoring backup status and investigating failures

Performing server and mailbox backup and restore operations

Ensuring compliance with backup schedules

Managing yearly tape backups and rotation

Supporting disaster recovery planning and execution

Ensuring backups are stored securely and replicated to remote blob and immutable storage

Collaborating with IT Operations to validate recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO)
