EIS is a multi-cloud support company. Azure is one of the main Public Cloud Hosting providers EIS uses for the deployment of Insurance platform.

Responsibilities Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization and identity management

Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) model for Cloud infrastructure support

Maintain software setup using Ansible or templates support

Collaborate with development teams during product implementation

Continuously challenge existing practices to propose improvements

Implement Azure networking for enterprise organizations

Build hybrid environments to span existing customer networks and Azure

Secure, manage and monitor Azure environments

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Active Directory, AD Connect, Azure Monitor, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure PostgreSQL Flexible servers, Azure SQL Managed Instances

Strong experience in Azure PAM and DLP technologies

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)

Understanding of internet routing protocols and switched environments

Knowledge of network administration, VPN / IPSec

Git and source code management

Experience building / deploying Azure resources using IaC – Terraform

Experience with Azure AKS

Linux OS administration knowledge

Azure monitoring experience

Open, proactive mindset to obstacles

Experience with Ansible

Bonus points Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases

Experience with Docker

Experience with Azure CLI or Azure ARM

DevSecOps experience

IT community involvement or mentoring

Understanding of logging tools (ELK)

Cloud or IT certifications

Kubernetes architecture knowledge and Helm

On-Call Duty Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide support outside of regular business hours

Respond to critical incidents and outages promptly

Work with the team to implement preventative measures and minimize downtime

Provide support for urgent cloud infrastructure issues during on-call periods

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Azure Administrator Associate or higher certification

Experience building / deploying Azure resources using IaC – Terraform

Proven experience with Azure services

Strong cloud networking understanding (Subscriptions, VNets, security groups, load balancer design, VPN)

Strong cloud security principles and best practices

Experience designing scalable, highly available cloud architectures

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Preferred Skills DevOps practices and CI / CD tooling

Monitoring / logging tools such as Azure Monitor, ELK Stack, DataDog
