As a Lending Analyst within the Securities Based Lending Team (SBL) you will manage loans and lines of credit which are fully collateralized by liquid marketable securities. The Lending Analyst is an entry level role with primary responsibility to assist Lenders with the team’s operational responsibilities including, but not limited to, analysing, approving, and documenting loans, lines of credit, and derivatives as well as resolving credit portfolio exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse new and amendment credit requests for adherence to policy, accurate borrower analysis, and a complete credit risk assessment within our target turn time of 2 business days.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, such as Bankers, Investors, Lending Advisors, Credit Executives, and Legal, to deliver the optimal product solution and structure.
• Generate, review, and deliver credit documents.
• Maintain a consistently high level of awareness around any potential credit issues. Proactively resolve exceptions, including under-margin situations, past due principal / interest, transactional issues and documentation exceptions.
