Overview
Business Analysis and BI Support Specialist to work onsite at ESA-ESAC in Spain. This role will provide both central and project-specific support, with priorities set in regular planning meetings. All controlling functions under SCI-M are closely interlinked, requiring excellent coordination, flexibility and communication skills to ensure smooth collaboration across all tasks and teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing a self-service reporting platform for SCI-M controllers, actively contributing to the SCI Reporting project to define and implement the solution.
- Manage and maintain the reporting platform, including creating and updating reports, BI solutions, shared workspaces, and apps for controllers.
- Provide training, support and coaching to controllers on using available BI tools and solutions.
- Continuously enhance the platform by collaborating with BI initiatives across the agency, with a focus on aligning with corporate and directorate developments.
Successful Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with relevant professional experience.At least 4 years of experience in financial planning, controlling, or resource management, ideally in an aerospace or project-oriented environment.Strong experience in business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI, and maintaining collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.Proven ability to manage data and reporting tools, with experience in implementing and maintaining self-service reporting platforms.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle ad hoc requests, participate in planning meetings and align with corporate guidelines and templates.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support others in using BI tools effectively.Familiarity with data access and processing tools such as the ESA Data Factory is an asset.Proactive problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement and user satisfaction.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.Candidates must be EU nationals.On offer
