General Manager

The General Manager reports directly to the European Director of Store Operations. The focus lies on the execution of the formula, ensuring a significant focus on the growth of the organization and fostering the company culture.

The General Manager is fully responsible for the P&L, expansion, and execution of store activities. To ensure that the formula, policies, and methods are implemented correctly, the General Manager will work closely with the Area Managers and several central departments, including Real Estate, Operations, Logistics, Buying, and Human Resources.

Responsibilities :

Operational Management

Ensure proper implementation of the formula, policies, and methods

Collaborate with Area Managers and central departments such as Real Estate, Operations, Logistics, Buying, and Human Resources

Maintain excellent store standards, including proper stocking, cleanliness, and adherence to processes

Oversee the opening of new stores without compromising on quality

Ensure that targets are achieved

Align leadership practices with company values and competencies

Manage HR instruments effectively, including recruitment, training, coaching, and absence management

Provide input on sales formula and policies from local and country perspectives

Monitor competition and recommend actions as necessary

People Management

Lead the team towards organizational growth and proactively address future needs

Provide direct, constructive feedback on performance and development

Encourage employee involvement in idea development and learning from experiences

Create a work environment that promotes continuous development and performance improvement

Act as a mentor or coach to develop employee skills and competencies

Manage staffing, recruitment, and retention within the department

Set an example in organizational behavior and communication

Prepare annual plans and monitor operational objectives throughout the year

Develop forecasts for key KPIs such as turnover and wages, and analyze results at shop, regional, and country levels
