Senior Director, Procurement

The Procurement Director will be a key contributor to meeting CEPG’s (Cross Enterprise Procurement Group) 2030 strategic pillars. This position will work for the CEPG Managing Director. The role involves managing the Coca-Cola System’s glass strategic sourcing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as monitoring upstream inputs such as Soda Ash, Gas & Electricity, and Cullet. The person in this role will support Bottlers and Operating Units participating in the CEPG Glass program and initiatives. It provides leadership for sourcing events, relationship management, sustainability initiatives, and supply continuity strategies. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the CEPG Glass strategies aligned with The Coca-Cola System’s vision. The role will be based in Europe, with potential locations in the UK, Ireland, Poland, or Bulgaria, primarily supporting Glass initiatives in the EMEA region.

Main Responsibilities :

Lead the sourcing process for the Glass category's annual expenditure.

Influence key stakeholders within the bottler system and Coca-Cola. Lead a matrixed team of procurement and technical personnel from the bottling community on projects.

Develop sourcing strategies that meet business objectives and foster sustainable supplier relationships.

Maintain relationships with senior management of key global and regional suppliers to support supply strategies.

Develop and connect sustainability strategies for Glass with KO and CEPG leadership, increasing supplier participation in sustainability initiatives, and supporting World Without Waste & climate goals. Serve as a liaison for sustainability stakeholders.

Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes and policies to benefit both organizations, leveraging Coca-Cola system volume.

Deliver financial value aligned with CEPG goals through sourcing strategies, events, and projects.

Collaborate on contract development to maximize procurement value.

Assist in developing price forecasts for senior management’s business planning.

Monitor key supply chain cost components.

Ensure supply continuity via management and business continuity plans.

Analyze industry trends and technology to identify and mitigate supply risks and exploit opportunities.

Project long-term supply / demand for regions to meet Coca-Cola’s needs.

Develop alternative supply strategies considering bottler assets.

Support Bottlers’ associates to build relationships and improve collaboration.

Develop team talent through leadership and coaching.

Align with internal stakeholders on sourcing strategies and ensure operational compliance.

Utilize digital tools and AI to improve procurement strategies and performance.

Related Education & Work Experience :

Bachelor's or master's degree; MBA preferred.

Minimum 10 years’ related experience.

Experience in procurement / supply management.

Ability to manage internal stakeholders and influence decisions.

Experience working across different geographies and cultures.

Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Willingness to travel approximately 30%.
