Job Opportunity : Senior Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and self-motivated individual to join our Data & Analytics team. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in building a modern, cloud-based, and scalable self-service data platform that supports decision-making across the organization. This role involves taking ownership of foundational components of our core data platform and collaborating closely with data engineers, analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Data Engineering : Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade data sets using dbt to deliver trusted data to internal teams and customers.
• Data Modeling : Own and optimize data models in dbt that support self-service analytics, operational reporting, and BI.
• Analytics Platform : Develop and maintain Looker explores, views, and dashboards, ensuring consistency between the semantic layer and the underlying dbt models.
• Data Governance : Ensure data quality, accessibility, and governance by implementing robust testing, documentation, and version control standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including data engineering, product, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable data products.
• Technical Leadership : Champion analytics engineering best practices across modeling, documentation, code review, and CI / CD automation.
• Mentorship : Mentor junior analytics engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team workflows, architecture, and data standards.
• Platform Optimization : Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of data pipelines with alerting, automated testing, and observability tooling.
