Our client is an international corporate finance advisory firm specializing in sustainable finance. They are newly established and, especially their equities team, is dedicated to advising early-stage companies focused on impact, future technologies, and achieving net-zero emissions. The firm is also successfully building M&A; and Real Estate Banking teams.

Our client now includes eight Partners – senior and highly experienced bankers located in Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Johannesburg – who bring a quality client base and established relationships.

It also boasts an Advisory Board comprised of highly recognized individuals able to ‘open doors’, provide substance, and sage advice.

For context,

current Advisory Board members / Senior Advisors of this rapidly growing firm include a former Chair of one of the largest mobile phone operators, a former head of the technology practice of a top tier global investment bank, a former UK Cabinet Minister, and a former Assistant Secretary of the United States.

In a short amount of time, our client has been able to build a firm that boasts a formidable international information and execution network, deep experience in sustainable finance, and an already loyal client base. In addition, and alongside this, the firm is now also growing much more industry agnostic Debt Advisory and M&A; teams, which are seeing impressive traction already.

To support their rapid expansion, they are seeking Senior Advisors who would be able to provide helpful introductions, context to situations, valuable insights and sage advice.

For the right individual, there could also be a wider leadership role available within the firm, which prides itself on cooperation, teamwork, and ‘cross-fertilization’ and can demonstrate that these are not mere words.

MISSION –

To support their rapid expansion, our client is seeking highly experienced, well-connected and influential individuals to join as Senior Advisors and / or join their Advisory Board and guide the firm's strategic direction and expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic counsel and guidance to the firm's leadership team.
• Leverage your extensive network to open doors and facilitate connections with key stakeholders.
• Represent our client as a thought leader and speaker at industry events.
• Contribute to the firm's business development efforts.
• Offer insights based on your deep understanding of corporate environments, international experience and market dynamics.
• Grow the firm’s overall profile.

REQUIREMENTS –

leading role within a top tier global investment bank, or C-level Executive within a large corporation.

COMPENSATION

The majority of your compensation will be directly tied to deal origination and successful deal completion. For the right individual, a nominal monthly fee and / or, potentially, in a year some form of equity stake in this rapidly growing corporate finance firm which, in turn, leads to Partner payouts.
