Position Description

As project finance analyst,

you will be responsible for leading primarily the credit rating process of European project finance transactions (full analysis process including an in-depth analysis of the quantitative and qualitative variables of a company) that results in a comprehensive rating report that you will present to the rating committee.

In addition to your role, you may be requested to work on energy corporates (IPPs, utilities, infra companies) to help the corporate team.

You must be available to travel across Europe (mainly Spain, France & Portugal) and be comfortable leading meetings with Senior-level professionals (mainly CFOs).

The position also requires monitoring a portfolio of credit ratings and taking rating actions when warranted.

Qualifications :

• Degree in business. CFA, MBA and technical backgrounds (math, engineering) valued positively.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably as a credit risk analyst at a bank (with a clear focus on project finance ), credit rating agency, asset manager, IPP or infra company etc.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis.
• Good communications skills.
• Advanced / Fluent English both written and spoken. French and Portuguese is a plus.
• Advanced Excel
