Group Accountant

Group Accountant (w / m) – 100% to join our team starting October 2025 . This is a remote role based in Spain , working closely with our global team and reporting to the Group Accounting Manager in Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for executing operational accounting tasks, supporting statutory and group reporting, and collaborating with local and group accounting teams. You will ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and contribute to continuous improvements in accounting processes.

What you will do

Operational Accounting

• Execute and supervise daily accounting operations such as :
• Processing accounts payable and receivable.
• Managing bank reconciliations.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of accounting records in compliance with local and group standards.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare standard reports and documentation required by the Group Accounting Manager or any stakeholders at MyCargoGate Group.
• Liaise with local accounting teams to ensure consistency in accounting treatment and timely reporting.
• Provide operational support to local teams regarding accounting systems and procedures.
• Assist in the rollout of group-wide accounting processes and system improvements.
• Coordinate with external service providers (e.g. accounting firms, payroll providers) to ensure accurate local execution.
