Consolidation Analyst – Group Accounting & Reporting

Location : Madrid | Full-Time | On-Site

Who is the company and what is the context? Our client is a global industrial group with a long-standing reputation for engineering excellence and innovation. As part of their international finance organisation, they are strengthening their Group Accounting function and seeking a skilled Consolidation Analyst to join their team in Madrid .

This role sits at the heart of the global consolidation process, supporting both internal and external reporting cycles and acting as a key contact for finance teams across multiple regions. The position offers exposure to international operations and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge consolidation tools, including CCH Tagetik .

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the monthly Group Consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Perform data validation and quality checks to maintain integrity across reporting entities
• Assist in preparing consolidated internal reports and selected external disclosures
• Act as a point of contact for local entities regarding consolidation tool usage and reporting queries
• Support system testing and updates in Tagetik , working closely with internal IT and external support teams
• Help identify process improvements and contribute to system optimisation initiatives
