Leading Trade Marketing
About the Role :
- Oversee trade marketing operations, focusing on high-performing team management and collaboration with sales teams to drive joint business plans that boost revenue and market share.
- Develop comprehensive trade marketing strategies tailored to local markets, aligning with overarching UK and EU marketing strategies.
- Own and execute joint business plans with key retail partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Plan and implement launch strategies, in-store activations, and online campaigns aligned with brand positioning.
- Craft creative and localized campaigns to increase product awareness, engagement, and in-store / online conversions.
- Identify and execute participation in relevant trade shows and retailer events that support revenue objectives.
- Evaluate current POS tools and implement improvements; define and monitor key success metrics.
- Lead the strategy and execution of brand shops and digital merchandising across e-retailer platforms.
- Ensure accurate and timely product data is provided to retail partners for listings and online experiences.
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years in trade marketing, preferably within consumer goods or retail sectors, including experience leading and building a team.Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing, mentoring, and motivating teams toward shared goals.Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, adaptable and agile with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.Passion for finding creative ways to drive consumer engagement and sales.Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive and self-motivated with high level of ownership and accountability.A successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a results-driven approach, and the ability to thrive in a global matrix structure.
