The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, validating, and supporting prefabricated modular data center solutions. They will contribute during both tender and project execution phases, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design proposals, specifications, submittal and production drawings, and other technical documentation.
- Provide design solutions to meet customer and site requirements, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
- Revise and validate structural designs during tendering stages to support solution proposals and cost estimations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Design and validate mechanical and structural elements of prefabricated buildings, including steel frame structures.
- Prepare calculation notes, manufacturing documentation, transport / lifting procedures, and testing protocols.
- Review and approve third-party designs to confirm compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Provide engineering support to factories, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and on-site services.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites to support technical resolutions.
Requirements
Degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience in structural and mechanical design of steel constructions.Strong expertise with Autodesk Revit, CREO, Tekla, and Autodesk Robot.Solid knowledge of finite element analysis and structural validation.Ability to work on international projects, adapting to local codes, seismic compliance, and diverse regulations.Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate in multidisciplinary environments.Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry best practices.Nice to Have
Experience with additional CAD / CAE tools or structural analysis software.Familiarity with PaaS / Cloud-hosted engineering solutions.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory validation workflows.Strong networking and presentation skills, including the use of social media for technical collaboration.Experience in safety engineering and risk assessment for prefabricated structures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
