Training Manager (Southern Europe)

Role Purpose The Training Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing staff learning and development strategies across Menzies Aviation in Southern Europe. This role ensures compliance with corporate training requirements, regulatory standards, and operational needs, while overseeing training delivery, effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the region.

Additionally, the Training Manager manages the Empower Learning Management System (LMS), overseeing the planning and scheduling of training activities. They coordinate and administer training requests, inductions, mandatory refresher courses, and other operational training needs, working closely with the Head of Operational Learning (Group), Station Managers, and operational planners to ensure a well-trained and compliant workforce.

The role can be based from Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga or Palma De Mallorca.

What you will be doing Assess training needs for individuals and teams in coordination with regional managers, ensuring alignment with corporate and operational requirements.

Monitor training compliance and execution of training plans across the organization.

Develop and implement training strategies and programs to support staff development and operational excellence.

Oversee the design and delivery of training courses, either internally or through external providers.

Ensure all training activities and materials comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Employment, and Equality laws.

What we are looking for Strong knowledge of personnel management and organizational development.

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training processes.

Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken); French or Italian is highly valued.

Excellent social, communication, and leadership skills.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation industry.
