We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect with deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing to drive the design, development, and evolution of our content delivery platform. This leadership role will focus on optimizing high-performance systems and integrating cutting-edge technologies to shape the future of our business. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic advisor, guiding both technical innovation and business alignment to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure solutions.

ZINIO powers some of the largest digital content distributors in the market. Newsstands, retailers, media service providers, inflight entertainment, and libraries offer incremental revenue, auditable paid circulation, and valuable brand exposure for publishers worldwide.

Responsibilities :

• Architect & Optimize : Lead the design and iteration of scalable, high-performance software systems, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and cloud-based technologies.
• Drive Innovation : Lead the integration of new content formats, distribution models, and advanced SaaS solutions into our content delivery platform.
• Strategic Vision : Serve as a strategic advisor, identifying emerging technologies and aligning them with our business goals to unlock new revenue streams.
• Team Leadership : Guide and mentor senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning, while promoting team collaboration.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product, business, and engineering teams to ensure consistent architectural vision and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication : Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and translate them into actionable tech solutions.
• Quality & Security : Ensure adherence to high standards of software quality, security, and scalability, optimizing cloud architecture and DevOps workflows.
• Risk Mitigation & Compliance : Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring that solutions meet industry standards and regulations.
