The Facilities and Operations Manager will oversee the comprehensive management of our headquarters, a global hub for various departments.
This role reports directly to the Facilities and Services Director.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all building operations, including cleaning, pest control, canteen services, and gardening.
Manage vendors to ensure contractual obligations are met and services are efficient and of high quality.
Serve as the primary point of contact for incident resolution, event coordination, and fostering a positive work environment.
Execute the annual facility management budget, prioritizing operational efficiency and resource optimization.
Create purchase orders for services and corrective actions as needed.
Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure all services comply with relevant regulatory requirements, such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001.
Networking and Collaboration :
Maintain strong relationships with team members, including Engineering and Hard Services, Controlling, and the Head of Department.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, facility management companies, security personnel, maintenance teams, and construction providers.
Education and Experience :
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a multinational or large-scale organization.
Familiarity with facilities management software, CMMS, and building management systems.
Knowledge of construction and renovation processes, including vendor selection and project management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluent English and Spanish language proficiency.
Advanced knowledge of facility management, preventive and corrective maintenance.
Ability to present reports and analyses clearly to senior management.
