Head of Platform Engineering

We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Platform Engineering to own the technical infrastructure that supports our AI-driven risk intelligence system. In collaboration with our Head of Technology, you will define and implement our cloud architecture, lead DevOps and security operations, and ensure the platform is built to meet future compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).

This role spans everything from choosing and managing cloud providers to deploying event-driven microservices, securing data pipelines, managing certificates and domains, and laying the foundation for reliable, scalable operations.

What you'll Do :

• Design and implement our cloud architecture for data pipelines, web apps, and ML services
• Build the DevSecOps pipeline to support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, and rollback
• Architect and deploy a secure event-driven backend to support ingest, processing, and real-time updates
• Manage cloud provider accounts, DNS, TLS / SSL certificates, and IAM / Secrets management
• Lead efforts to meet future compliance standards : ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.
• Set up logging, observability, backup, and disaster recovery frameworks from day one
• Design and implement Monitoring and alerting solutions
• Choose and manage best-in-class third-party infrastructure and security vendors
• Collaborate closely with the AI / ML and web application teams to ensure smooth deployment and scaling
• Drive a culture of security and resilience across engineering and business processes
