Overview Job Title : Legal / Human Rights Expert

This role involves stengthening democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention in third countries.

The overall objective of this assignment is to contribute to reducing fraud, manipulation and intimidation which could undermine electoral processes; improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections; and enhance public confidence in institutions.

Responsibilities Election observation and assessment

Electoral systems administration standards

Familiarity with national election frameworks

Understanding of election management bodies

Qualifications Master\'s degree in law political science or international relations or 5+ years experience in lieu

10+ years general experience in elections electoral assistance human rights democratisation rule of law civil society
