SANY Renewable Energy is seeking a highly qualified Senior Expert in Blade Aerodynamics to join our international R&D team in Madrid. This role focuses on advancing aerodynamic design, simulation, and validation of wind turbine blades to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency across diverse wind conditions.

The successful candidate will contribute deep technical expertise, collaborate across global engineering teams, and help drive aerodynamic innovation within our growing European operations.

support airfoil design and analysis including the integration of features such as vortex generators and serrations.

Lead multi-objective aerodynamic blade design processes incorporating structural, control, and load considerations.

Validate turbine power curves and perform root cause analyses for underperformance.

Conduct blade load simulations using internal and commercial software tools.

Analyse field experiment data to assess in-flight blade response and its effect on turbine performance.

Develop specialized computational tools (primarily in MATLAB or Python) to support blade design tasks.

Evaluate aerodynamic impacts of blade modification kits and 3D CFD simulations.

Deep expertise in air foil performance and blade element momentum (BEM) theory.

Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, Fortran, C / C++ with knowledge of object-oriented programming and optimization algorithms.
