Project Planning Expert
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team and contribute to the success of our renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering or a relevant discipline, with at least 5 years of experience working as a Project Planner with an EPC or similar company in the solar industry.
Responsibilities
- Craft contractual programs during negotiation phase with clients, identifying constraints and third-party interferences.
- Examine EPC contracts and prepare contractual annexes for protection against potential delays and liquidated damages.
- Determine deliverables for each EPC project, including key milestones and obligations, to define the project execution plan and narrative.
- Compile information from all departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to create a consistent and reliable master schedule from bidding to execution.
- Manage the contractual Master Schedule during project execution, ensuring compliance, progress, and effective internal communication.
- Prepare updates to identify critical paths and methods for recovery.
- Oversee work progress and productivity, and provide progress, control, and monitoring reports.
- Ensure adherence to contractual deadlines, identify deviations, and formulate preventive action plans.
- Periodically review progress against the baseline plan, conduct forecast and trend analysis, and evaluate alternative work approaches.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions with clients and subcontractors as required.
- Develop and monitor methods, control KPIs, SPI reports, S-curves, and resource histograms.
- Define scheduling and control reporting requirements with clients and prepare monthly and weekly reports.
- Assess the impact of delays, analyze responsibility, discuss concurrency, and related changes.
- Assist with claims management using delay analysis techniques and issue Forensic Delay Analysis reports.
- Aid in grid connection procedures and develop project-specific roadmaps.
- Ensure the technical quality of contractual programs using recognized metrics.
- Provide risk assessment and management during execution.
- Ensure adherence to the company's Planning and Project Control Procedures and document lessons learned.
Qualifications
Degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.At least 5 years of experience as a Project Planner with an EPC or similar company in the solar industry.Strong understanding of project planning principles, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with leadership and collaboration skills.If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for project planning, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
