Accounting Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function in Spain and Portugal. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to take on a strategic role with direct collaboration with the CFO and regional finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring financial transparency, regulatory compliance, and accuracy in financial reporting. Key responsibilities include :

• Managing accounting transactions and operations to ensure transparency and integrity
• Coordinating internal administrative processes in line with headquarters requirements
• Leading and overseeing internal and statutory audits to ensure deadlines and standards are met
• Promoting professional development within the accounting team, encouraging continuous learning and autonomy
• Ensuring timely submission of reports required by Regional Headquarters RHQ

To succeed in this role, you will need :

A strong background in medical or diagnostics industry would be advantageous, as well as experience in auditing preferably with Big Four firms. Knowledge of IAS / IFRS and ES-GAAP accounting standards is also essential. If you have 3-5 years of experience in similar roles managing accounting processes and teams, we encourage you to apply.
