Project Development Manager

Leap29 is proud to present an exciting opportunity in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will join a leading global investor on a permanent basis in Madrid.

This role involves supporting the development, pre-construction, and construction of projects from early stages through to operations. Key responsibilities include evaluating construction risks, providing expert guidance to regional teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and negotiating contracts.

• Evaluate construction risks and ensure readiness at development and acquisition stages.
• Provide expert guidance to regional teams throughout pre-construction and construction phases.
• Ensure safety, governance, and quality standards are met across all projects.
• Support the negotiation and execution of EPC and related contracts.
• Lead and promote lessons learned, continuous improvement, and smooth handovers to operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Engineering degree with substantial relevant experience in renewable energy projects.
