PURPOSE
Global support for Marketing and Commercial department, playing a crucial role in developing and launching successful Taste Modulation Solutions with focus in US market .
HTBA has ambitious goals to grow in this business unit. Strategy, portfolio, and tactics shall be defined in conjunction with the Commercial, R&D and Marketing departments.
FUNCTIONS, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.- Market Research and Needs Identification :
- Analyze external and internal data to understand customer needs, consumer preferences, and market trends
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities (SWOT)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and validate market requirements
- Understand the science and regulatory framework (Studies, IP, regulations)
2.- Product Portfolio Strategy :
Develop a comprehensive product portfolio aligned with business goalsPrioritize product features based on market demand, feasibility, and strategic fitUnderstanding and building Source of Volume scenarios; new markets, existing and new customersPrepare Product Presentation based on market trends and consumer insightsClear and targeted portfolio – Focusing Benefit vs Ingredient moleculeClose collaboration with R&D and Application Lab for new product developments and improvements in current portfolioSupport New Product Launch Plan / Execution (support project management)Define product roadmaps and release schedules, managing the process to achieve desired timelines3.- Positioning and Branding Strategy :
Develop deep product and science knowledgeDefine target customer segments and tailor messaging accordingly.Craft compelling product positioning statements, subjected to be reviewed by advisors (health and nutrition functional claims)Promote and market HTBA’s R&D / Application lab (ideation lab), so it is seen as a core added value by customersCollaborate with other colleagues from the marketing department to develop effective branding and promotional materials4.- Unique Selling Proposition (USP) :
Identify the unique value proposition of each product solutionClearly articulate the benefits that differentiate HTBA´s products from competitorsEnsure that the USP resonates with the targeted audienceLeverage Regulatory & Science added values to differentiate from competition5.- Product Development and Launch - Planning and Execution :
Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launchCoordinate product launches, including target customers, and pricing strategy based on cost in useContent development and elaboration of a content calendar that will be used to communicate content along the year : PR campaigns, Congresses, Tradeshows, HTBA’ channels (website, social media)Develop Product Launch presentation aligned with business strategy and insights6.- Perform Monitoring and Optimization :
Select and monitor product performance metrics (e.g., sales, market share, customer feedback)Marketing Budget proactive managementContinuously assess product success and iterate based on market and customer’s feedbackCollaborate with sales teams to address any challenges or opportunitiesWork closely with external agencies for all campaigns – analytics / testing & optimization.Participate and support key customer engagement and meetingsIdentification of brand awareness actions in tradeshows and congresses to position HTBA’s ingredients and solutions in customer’s mindset7.- Demonstrate cultural values and behaviors to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders :

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred : Relevant areas - Marketing, Communication, and Digital toolsMinimum 5+ years of marketing experience in Taste ModulationStrategic orientation and creativity, problem solvingLanguage : English (bilingual) and SpanishProficient in Word, Excel, PPT, AdobeNavigate multiple platforms (CRM, Digital, Social)Self-motivated and positive attitudeValid PassportTRAVEL : Up to 30% for trade shows, corporate meetings, customer engagement (International and Local)
