Business Development Manager
to join our team in
Madrid . Responsibilities
Lead internal changes that benefit both the service and the product. Seek new revenue alternatives derived from the DCC, multi-currency and Tax Free business (and any of the currency family). Monitor reports from MIS and distribute them to the relevant figures / areas. Visit major clients from both a customer acquisition and relationship-building perspective. Train the branch network on the advantages of the multi-currency business. Promote proper training and dedication to the sales team (branches, DNAs, GNAs, industries, etc.). Give presentations on the DCC business both internally and externally. Be the point of contact from an operational standpoint for all our partners. Establish the necessary servicing (setting measurable and assessable KPIs to ensure service quality). Ensure that implementation materials (guides, demos, portals, etc.) are clear, accessible and kept up to date. Qualifications
7-9 years of experience in the Payments Industry. Degrees in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, Law, or Business Studies. High English level. Desired extra points
Experience in customer management and team leadership. Knowledge of DCC, multi-currency and tax-free services and products. POS terminals and their main technical characteristics; familiarity with different POS terminal models. Santander Methodology desirable. Core processes in payment methods banking (acquisition, issuance, Redsys and SIBS exchange, authorisation centre, POS terminals, ATMs, PCI, HSM, PSD2). Knowledge of local processors Redsys and SIBS.
