Linux Software Engineer

On behalf of our key partners, RED now has a new opportunity for a Linux Engineer to join an ongoing project. The initial contract is for 12 months with excellent extension opportunities.

Start date : immediately
Duration : 12 months+
Location : Madrid, Spain
Hybrid : 2-3 days / week in Madrid, rest remote
Languages : Spanish and English

Skills :

Linux system engineer with experience in RedHat and Ubuntu

Implementation and configuration of Linux operating systems with automation focus using Ansible

Implementation and management of Linux management consoles (Satellite, etc.)

Implementation and administration of email relay servers using Postfix

Implementation and administration of LDAP systems

Implementation and administration of load balancers using HAProxy

Security patch management and vulnerability assessment in Linux systems

Performance monitoring and system maintenance

Security management of deployed assets in coordination with cybersecurity teams

Hardening of responsible systems

Basic knowledge of cloud environments is desirable, as many deployments are in IaaS on Azure or AWS

Candidates must be based in Madrid to be considered.
