We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our research initiative focused on understanding and treating Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) through a multi-omics, longitudinal, and precision medicine approach.
The selected candidate will be involved in the integration and analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, and proteomic data to identify disease mechanisms, biomarkers of progression, and therapeutic targets in ALS.
Key aspects of this project include multicenter consortium involvement, comprehensive characterization of ALS, development of predictive models of disease progression, and strong translational focus including preclinical testing platforms.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related field, with proficiency in NGS data processing and analysis (>
5 years), experience in short-read and long-read WGS data analysis, and strong programming skills (e.g., R, Python).
