Our client, a global leader in the livestock industry, is seeking a strategic and committed Country Manager for Spain and Portugal . This role offers the opportunity to lead regional growth, manage a dynamic team, and promote sustainable business practices.
Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a
strategic business plan to achieve the company's objectives in the livestock
industry, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
Team Management : Lead and inspire, in alignment
with the company’s style, a diverse team of professionals by providing
guidance, training, and support to achieve operational excellence.
Market Analysis : Continuously monitor market
trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and
adjust strategies accordingly.
Sales and Marketing : Oversee sales and
marketing efforts to promote our livestock services and products, expand our
customer base, and meet revenue goals.
Financial Management : Manage the financial
aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control,
ensuring sustainable profitability.
Customer Relationship Management : Build and
maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors to strengthen
the company’s reputation and market presence.
Reporting : Submit regular reports to the
corporate office on country performance, market insights, and strategic
recommendations.
Requirements :
Degree in Business
Administration, Agriculture or a related field.
Proven experience in
commercial leadership in a senior management role within the livestock
industry.
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong track record
in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge
of livestock production practices.
Results-oriented
with a proven history of meeting sales targets.
Ability to analyze
data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Excellent strategic
thinking and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in Spanish
and English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of the
Spanish livestock market will be highly valued.
