Core Responsibilities
1. Building the HR System from the Ground Up :
Lead the design and implementation of a full-cycle HR system tailored to the business development stage in Spain, covering but not limited to : recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee development, and corporate culture.
Develop localized HR policies, processes, and employee handbooks that comply with Spanish Workers' Statute and collective bargaining agreement requirements.
Evaluate, select, and manage local HR service providers.
2. Enterprise Labor Union Relations and Employee Relations Management :
Labor Union Relations Expertise : Establish and maintain constructive relationships with employee representatives and labor unions. Act as the primary company representative in communications, consultations, and negotiations with unions.
Compliance and Risk Control : Possess a deep understanding of and ensure all company personnel operations fully comply with Spanish labor laws, industry collective agreements, and data protection laws (LOPDGDD). Effectively prevent and resolve labor disputes.
Employee Relations : Handle complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, termination negotiations, etc., ensuring the process is legal, fair, and professional.
Communication Bridge : Establish effective formal communication channels between management and employees to promote labor-management harmony.
3. Business Partner Support :
Work closely with business leaders to diagnose organizational issues and provide HR solutions in areas such as talent management, team effectiveness, and organizational change.
Provide professional advice and training to business departments on Spanish labor law, team management, and leadership development.
4. Daily Operations :
Manage the entire employee lifecycle process, ensuring the accuracy of HR data.
Collaborate with the global HR team to ensure the localization and implementation of global HR strategies in Spain.
