Overview
Global process owner Refurbishment / reprocessing for Sonovas sites in SOCM (MX) RCSE (ES) and SOCC (CN). Based on the importance of the SOCM and RCSE sites, the role will be based in SOCM or RCSE. Setting the global strategy for the Refurbishment and Reprocessing processes, executing those processes that improve quality, delivery, cost and environmental impact across the regions while staying compliant. Functional owner of Refurbishment and reprocessing processes globally, i.e. design and maintain the global process and drive local implementation. Own and execute strategy, optimize processes and capabilities as a key driver of service cost, reliability, quality, environmental impact, ability to service and deliver across all refurbishment / reprocessing sites globally.
Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership - Own and execute strategy : Own and drive execution of Refurbishment / reprocessing roadmap globally in alignment with global and regional OPS and global service strategies.
- Engages with commercial organization to identify and drive circularity initiatives and usage of reprocessed components.
- Design / update the to be process and site footprint of refurbishment and reprocessing activities including logistics planning.
- Understand regulatory, customs, finance, tax and compliance requirements re refurbishment / reprocessing in the global context and embed those in the process; initiate changes (e.g. traceability concept end to end) to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with global service process managers in product design and development process to maximize ability to refurbish / reprocess / repair / reuse.
- In strong collaboration with global and regional planning and material management : adjust refurbishment / reprocessing guidelines, train and roll out, ensure local adherence.
- SAP GPO for Refurb / reprocessing process in SAP : reflect business process in ERP and close potential gaps.
- Improve together with OPS, controlling, costing approach and pricing model.
- Set up, deploy and optimize refurbishment concept for non-BTE product families (Roger DWA chargers etc.) and non-HI products.
- Develop and update global standards in terms of SOPs and process compliance.
- Optimize process end to end with an initial focus on sites in SOCM and RCSE.
- Global coordination towards the growing inventory mountain to be urgently converted into SEMs.
- Optimize process and drive process standardization across major refurbishment sites; drive good practice sharing globally jointly with manufacturing engineering teams; apply Lean concepts to convert process in a takt flow; process optimization for yield, productivity, layout and flow.
- Design and improve global measurement standards covering quality, delivery, cost and drive local deployment and performance improvements; set targets and perform benchmarks across the sites.
- Develop and maintain network of regional reprocess / refurbish leaders and align processes and organization cross-functionally.
Your profile
Bachelors degree or equivalent (engineering technical).10 years of experience in a similar role .Project management : Strong understanding of Value Chain excellence, Value Chain network optimization, Sales, Inventory, Operational Planning, Product and SKU management, Procurement and Operations including Manufacturing Value Chain, Logistics and tactical procurement processes.Experience in supply chain management operations or manufacturing.Experience in Lean Operating Systems and manufacturing optimizations.Experience in driving initiatives across several sites.Good to have : Experience with refurbishment / reprocessing and service process.Analytical mindset, demonstrated business and finance acumen, strategic thinker and continuous improvement leader.Skilled influencer who can impact across all levels and functions of the organization and motivate others.Build cross-functional partnerships (commercial, service, SCM, sites, finance, tax, QARA, etc.).Inspire, develop and lead a team and network.Language skills
Fluent English and Spanish; knowledge of German is a plus.
IT skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP BW, SAP system.
