Job Purpose

The job holder will report to the Manufacturing Improvement Manager and cooperate with the rest of team in Sagunto in the definition, execution and management of proposed projects.

In this position, the employee will be responsible for :

  • Process Improvement and standardization projects based on 6 sigma tools and NSG group best practice.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimations (Including payback studies) in order to approve capital expenditure (Capex) for each project.
  • Industrialization projects leadership according to defined timing and approved CAPEX.
  • Support the introduction of new models and new processes into the production lines.
  • Identification and management of OCS (Operating cost savings) projects. Reporting and monitoring results vs plant target
  • Process MST (Standarization) audits and action plan management
  • PFMA and Control Plan management.
  • Participate in the achievement of the plant's 5s target and the execution of Quick Kaizen.
  • Participate in the site digitalization project.
  • Support QA department in the root cause, analysis for a customer QA claim (through different tools such as SPC, 5S, 5WHY, 8D, Kaizen, Ishikawa…)

Requirements :

  • University degree in related field.
  • At least 3 / 5 years of experience in similar positions
  • English / Spanish fluent reading, writing, conversation is mandatory.
  • Good team worker, willing to work closely with all the stakeholders involved (Manufacturing, QA, EHS, SC…)
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality
  • Ability to work independently, take initiatives and follow-up on assigned projects
  • Previous experience in a position within a company active in automotive industry
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge and experience
