API Platform Expert

About the Role

You will guide clients in the API Platform end-to-end, supporting architecture, design, setup, and management of the platform on-premises and cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and Tencent. You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, managing, and securing APIs and supporting business projects within the API Journey.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the API Platform from scratch and contribute to setting up services and associated technologies across the organization.
• Support and troubleshoot technical issues under stress context to fix unexpected downtimes and maximize uptime KPI.
• Perform API platform maintenance, including troubleshooting, engaging with technology providers, and customization.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of service to consumers.
• Apply an API First mindset to support Business in monetizing APIs.
• Participate in developing cross-functional strategy and lead definition and implementation of high-performance application services and solutions.
• Accountable for the performance, quality, security, efficiency, compliance aligned with legal and regulatory constraints, and consistent delivery of their services.
• Align the technology strategy with short-term and long-term business strategies.
• Track functionality and technology roadmaps of primary IT vendors and partners in their areas to build the product roadmap.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, experiences, and good practices within the team.
• Support customers' success with the onboarding, maintenance, and decommissioning of new and existing APIs.
• Maintain customers' relationships and serve as the focal point for product service, technical, and architectural guidance.
• Deliver end-to-end API services (design, engineering, deployment, and operations including KPIs).
• Provide technical supervision and guidance for API Security, Capacity, and Lifecycle management of the API management product.
• Contribute to annual and long-range strategic planning exercises.
