Job Description — Perfumer Location : Viti Vinci Atelier, Palma de Mallorca Position Type : Full-time (with occasional travel to the UK) About Viti Vinci Viti Vinci is a natural fragrance house rooted in Mallorca, dedicated to creating immersive olfactory experiences through the exclusive use of natural raw materials. Our work bridges regenerative agriculture, fine perfumery, and sensory storytelling. We develop bespoke olfactory identities for leading brands and partners, as well as unique fragrances for our own collections, ranging from fine perfumes and atmospheric scents to cosmetics, candles, and functional synergies. We are now seeking a talented and passionate Perfumer to join our creative team in Palma de Mallorca. Role Overview The Perfumer will play a central role in fragrance creation and formula development across Viti Vinci’s projects and collections. This includes : Designing bespoke fragrances for partner brands. Creating new concepts for our in-house collections. Developing a wide range of products including fine fragrances, room fragrances, candles, cosmetics, and functional synergies. This role requires both technical expertise in perfumery and a deep passion for working with natural extracts. The Perfumer will also contribute to workshops, events, and immersive experiences where the art of natural perfumery is showcased to clients and the public. Key Responsibilities Fragrance Creation & Development Formulate new fragrances for bespoke client briefs and Viti Vinci collections. Work exclusively with natural raw materials to design high-quality, innovative perfumes. Develop olfactory identities across different product categories (fine fragrance, atmospheric, cosmetic, candles, functional blends). Creative Collaboration Partner with the Founder and Creative team to align creations with Viti Vinci’s vision and DNA. Translate concepts and brand stories into olfactory compositions. Product Development Support Ensure fragrance adaptations for different supports (e.G., diffuser, candle, spray, skincare). Collaborate with the production team to guarantee quality and consistency. Events & Experiences Participate in olfactory workshops, brand activations, and immersive experiences where the role of the perfumer is central. Represent Viti Vinci at selected events in Spain and abroad. Knowledge & Research Stay up to date with developments in natural raw materials and extraction methods. Conduct research on olfactory trends, markets, and new opportunities for innovation. Secondary Responsibilities Support with legislation aspects of concentrates to ensure compliance with IFRA and allergens. Assist in legislation aspects of final products in collaboration with the production and operations team. Carry out weighing of formula trials, when necessary, depending on the workload of the production team. Candidate Profile Experience : Proven experience as a perfumer, with a portfolio of fragrance creations and formula development. Expertise : Strong knowledge of natural raw materials, extraction techniques, and their creative applications. Creativity : Ability to translate abstract concepts and brand values into compelling olfactory experiences. Passion : Genuine enthusiasm for natural perfumery and sustainable approaches. Collaboration : Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary creative team. Flexibility : Based in Palma de Mallorca, with availability for occasional travel to the UK to support expansion. Languages : English (professional level). Spanish and / or French would be a plus.
