Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Set clear sales targets and goals for the sales team and ensure they are achieved through effective planning and execution.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and develop appropriate sales strategies.
Team Leadership and Management
Build and lead a high‐performing sales team in the EMEA region, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the sales team.
Provide regular feedback and support to the sales team to help them achieve their full potential.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers in the EMEA region.
Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure that our products and services are well positioned in the market.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics on a regular basis, including sales volume, revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to drive sales growth and improve overall performance.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Market Expansion and Business Development
Identify new market opportunities in the EMEA region and develop strategies to enter and penetrate these markets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote our products and services in the region.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, such as distributors, agents, and opinion leaders, to support business development efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or above in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
At least 15 years of sales and sales management experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on cardiac valve products.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in the EMEA region.
Experience in leading and managing a sales team in a complex and dynamic environment.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
Analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to make data‐driven decisions.
Knowledge of the cardiac valve market in the EMEA region, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Other European languages are a plus.
