Technical Support Specialist (Plastics Processing)

Our client is a leading multinational distributor of plastic raw materials and part of a major global industrial group. With headquarters in North America and a strong presence in Europe, the company supplies engineered polymers and commodity resins to more than fifteen countries.

They operate in close collaboration with manufacturers, processors and OEMs, developing technical solutions, quality improvements and sustainability initiatives for the plastics value chain.

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist with hands-on experience in polymer processing or packaging technology.

The role will support customers across Europe, providing process expertise, managing quality cases, and contributing to operational excellence and sustainability projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, technical capabilities and business model.
• Provide technical assistance to customers across Europe, focusing on plastics processing and application support.
• Analyse production issues and propose improvements such as waste reduction, weight optimisation and cycle time efficiency.
• Investigate and manage quality claims, document findings and ensure proper follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal quality and compliance initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in sustainability-related projects involving raw materials, processes and supply chain partners.
