Position
HR Coordinator, French speaking (m / f)
Manage day-to-day operations of crew members on ships and provide support to other team members in HR while conforming to French legal obligations and Grand Circle Corporation’s policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain crew schedules; coordinate with SMT and Nautical teams.
- Cooperate with recruiters and other coordinators regarding crew planning and open positions and ensure manning of ship is always covered.
- Manage and update crew rotations and communicate schedules.
- Collect and maintain employee documentation in systems.
- Handle contract preparation, addendums, disciplinary actions, and end-of-contract procedures.
- Support team as point of contact for employee relations and legal matters.
- Organize and lead CSE meetings, onboard training, and manage documentation.
- Ensure compliance with social security and occupational health requirements.
- Support HR operations, performance management, and policy updates.
- Act as backup for HR colleagues, including payroll and weekend duties.

Native or bilingual French languageProficiency in English , both written and verbalStrong organizational and communication skillsFamiliarity with HR systems and document managementAbility to work independently and handle confidential mattersTime management & PunctualityAccurate & Attention to DetailsKnowledge in Microsoft Office toolsAbility to handle stressful situations and have difficult conversationsExperience with payroll software such as Nibelis, Cegid, or Sage would be a plus.How to apply
