Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Software Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our digital healthcare team, you will play a critical role in leading the technical design and development of our core backend infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

Leading the technical design and development of robust modular backend services to support our comprehensive digital health platform.

Implementing and leveraging development and test tools and utilities that integrate cutting-edge methodologies in automated generation of technical requirements, code, and testing protocols.

Designing efficient database schemas and data models for health information, and optimizing the design of data storage and analytics for handling large volumes of clinical and consumer data.

Creating a scalable architecture that can handle increasing user loads and data volumes across multiple countries and therapeutic areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Java development with healthcare domain knowledge.

4+ years of experience with modular development on AWS.

Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and interoperability frameworks.

Knowledge of security best practices for handling protected health information (PHI) and other sensitive data.
