Head of Utility Scale role at Prosolia Energy Group.
Prosolia Energy is a leading renewable energy group with operations in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Germany through our subsidiaries. We are an Independent Power Producer (IPP) specialised in providing decarbonisation services to our customers. We control the entire value chain of the projects : developing, constructing, operating and maintaining a range of renewable generation and storage sources. Our vision is to lead the transition of the industrial and productive sector towards a decarbonised, sustainable and competitive model, with decentralised energy production. Our strategic objectives include expansion into new markets and innovation in energy solutions such as energy storage.
Our project portfolio exceeds 4 GW in Europe. The candidate can be based in Valencia or Madrid; if based in Madrid, travel to our Valencia office approximately 2 days per week is required. Our headquarters are based in Valencia.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Utility Scale business unit of the Prosolia Group.
- Definition and implementation of the Utility Scale department strategy for all technologies.
- Management of development and project management teams for Utility Scale projects within the Prosolia Group in various jurisdictions.
- Reporting to the board of directors, responsible for Utility Scale projects within the group, and presenting and defending projects to the investment committee.
- Supervising the identification and evaluation of new project opportunities.
- Supervising project planning, design, construction, and operations.
- Managing relationships with investors, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in all projects.
- Supervising financial management, legal compliance and project progress reports.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and technological advancements.
Requirements
University degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.Demonstrated experience of at least 8 years in Utility Scale project management.Deep knowledge of the photovoltaic solar industry and its current trends.Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.Excellent financial management skills and the ability to work with budgets and projections.Profound knowledge of renewable energy regulations and standards in Europe, particularly in solar energy.High level of English proficiency (C1); French is a plus.Seniority level
