At the forefront of innovation, we are developing cutting-edge near-eye displays for the future of extended reality (XR) glasses.
We are seeking a senior optical engineer with expertise in ferroelectric liquid crystals (FLCs) to lead the development of custom FLC optical elements and serve as a technical advisor in external collaborations.
Responsibilities
Design and develop FLC optical elements for near-eye displays
Act as an in-house technical advisor for collaboration projects with industrial partners
Support the transition from research to large-scale production
Collaborate with patent attorneys to draft patents for inventions generated during the R&D process
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of FLC materials and their electrical and optical properties. They should have experimental ability to develop and characterize FLC optical elements, including knowledge of substrate materials and methods for FLC alignment.
A PhD degree in Optics or Material Science with a focus on FLCs is required, along with 3 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Master\'s degree in a similar field with 7 years of additional relevant experience may be considered. A professional working level of English is essential.
